The Dusty Bottoms Rodeo held at Hidden Creek Ranch in Sterrett Alabama is an opportunity for kids ages 2 through 16 to test their rodeo skills. The Dusty Bottoms Rodeo is a two day event which occurs 3 times a year. There are 29 events scheduled over the weekend. We begin on Saturday with the Opening Ceremony. We have our traditional grand entry with all the participants entering the arena. Events 1 through 18 are held on Saturday. On Sunday morning you have an opportunity to attend Cowboy Church held right outside the arena. The rodeo starts at 1 p.m. on Sunday with the remaining events 19 through 29. We finish the day off by giving awards to winners in each of our three divisions (girls and boys) and two additional awards for Cowboy Up and Cowgirl Up. Points and ribbons are awarded in each event to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place. Participations ribbons are given to each contestant. Points accumulate over the year and all around Cowboy and Cowgirl awards in each of three divisions are given in the Grand Championship which takes place in July. |

The atmosphere is based on the following basic principles.
God, Family and Fun.
We desire to honor God in all that we do. This is a time for families to gather and support the efforts of their kids as they attempt new challenges. Finally, we want everyone to have Fun. We believe the success of The Dusty Bottoms Rodeo is due to these basic ideas.
